Nurses do not require specialties and don’t have to be as smart as doctors do. As long as a nurse, you know the most basic techniques and you can save life – job well done!

Nurses possess the most important role in a hospital setting. They act as a family member to their patients and give them comfort when they needed it the most. That’s the reason why the letters “TLC” was connected in the nursing profession. How can a registered nurse with technical excellence cans can be a nurse to his/her patients if he/she doesn’t even know how to provide the most basic care?

For as long as you know how to deal with your patient’s life, you are a NURSE. Hold their hands if they need it, be a listener, be an advocate to them and give them a sense of hope that they can survive what they are experiencing right now. This are only few simple things that a nurse could do but this could help a lot in brining your patient’s life alive. Tender loving care is something nurses should always remember and as a student nurse, I myself will remember it.
